I’ve been trying to think about how I first met Olen’s mom Aspen, it’s hard because I feel like i’ve known her forever. I’m sure it was through Jameson Manor- A local event venue where she works, and since have connected but it seems like we’ve been friends for years!
We were sitting at a styled shoot a photographer friend was putting on and Aspen saying, so i’ve got to tell you something, and It was like I instantly knew! I was over the moon excited for her and Elliot!
I’m not gonna lie, it seemed like her pregnancy lasted FOREVER. I couldn’t wait to meet their sweet baby! I was thrilled when Aspen wanted to open up a baby registry! She was one of the first! I can’t wait to see these gorgeous images displayed throughout their home!
Wondering around the kitchen one morning when I got a message from Aspen, just a week before we had met for coffee. My jaw dropped! Baby was here, wearing a hat in the photos with no explanation on if baby Westerbeck was a boy or a girl! So after asking desperately for her to spill the news- Low and behold, the sweetest BOY joined their family. Olen.
I’ve been loving the lifestyle newborn sessions, they definitely seem to be growing in popularity! I knew Aspen’s nursery was gonna be gorgeous. The crib is a family heirloom that was one of the only things to survive a devastating house fire. It’s one of those pieces that truly is one of a kind.
Aspen and Elliot sure made a handsome babe and I know that Olen is going to be SO incredibly loved by both mom & dad but also both sides of the family!!

This photo above is one of my favorites! Aspen’s mom was there to help them and while she was changing a diaper, Elliot instantly started loving all over Aspen. You light up his world and it shows!
