When Jessica & Corey first reached out I felt so many emotions! Excitement because you know that photographing another photographer will lead to lots of beautiful things! Nervous because she is so talented and I just hope I do her justice!
Pale blue with lots of greenery made for a simple but beautiful wedding palette! Jessica also had custom dresses made for the girls! SO cute!!
Like all weddings, something usually doesn’t quite go as planned! Because of all the rain, they moved to their ceremony site to their backup plan. As I pulled up to shoot the ceremony & reception decor I found the decorator, her crew, along with Corey and his Brother- all trying to reset all that I had blown over with the wind the night before. With things all put back together I headed off to Jessica & Corey’s new home to photograph the beginning of their day! Both being in the house made for strategic planning so that they didn’t see each other but also I think added so much excitement and anticipation!
Jessica had arranged a special first look for Corey with a little help from his brother, David!! Cutest bride i’ve seen in a long time ya’ll!
It was a gorgeous, but warm day! Lots of sunshine, which was more than welcomed after all the rain we had recently! Jessica looked STUNNING in her gown, and you could see it written all over Corey’s face when he finally laid eyes on her!
This day was so much more than Jessica & Corey. It was about them, their littles and them becoming a family together! They stood in front of their closest family and friends and promised life with each other. Watching them all dance together for the family dance brought on some misty eyes for a handful of people! Hearing the kids giggling and the smiles! So excited for all their future adventures together!
We ended the night with a crazy gorgeous sunset!! Perfect for a photographer’s big day!!
