I have been looking forward to this wedding since Amber and Brodey booked with me! They are so fun-loving, they laugh together and are truly meant for each other!!
I was headed to their wedding when April from Spencer Sugar Shop called me, we talked about how stinking excited we were for their day! She told me how beautiful the reception area looked, I told April how excited I was for her yummy treats haha! April described it as a classy winter wonderland, and she nailed it!
I walked in to what’s always a little hustle and bustle as the final touches are being put on!
Her details were simple, and her girls- all gorgeous! Her dress was hanging and I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped at the train of her dress! It was STUNNING!
Their first look was the epitome of why I think people should have a first look! I helped Amber outside and as I handed her bouquet her lips began to quiver and her eyes welling up with tears.
Brodey had his back to her, biting his lip in order to keep it from quivering the same as Amber. He turned around and they both almost simultaneously wiped their eyes. In awe of his beautiful bride, they embraced, then they laughed and took each other in. It was romantic, vulnerable & just the two of them! Brodey then went to get who may have been the most important part of the whole day… Sadie.
She basically walked upright she was SO excited to see her mama all dressed up! We got her pretty lace collar on and took some photos! Pretty much made Amber’s day, mine too!
While Sadie was on her way back home, Amber and Brodey exchanged personal vows they wrote for each other, another reason of why I am so for First Looks! Cue all the happy tears & laughs. I pretty much cry anytime other people cry so I was hiding behind my camera the whole time!
They held their ceremony in front of the gorgeous fireplace at Crimson Lane, it truly is the perfect place to hold a winter wedding!!
We wrapped up family formals and headed out to catch the last of the sunset! Amber’s girls looked so amazing in their silver-blue dresses and fur shaws! The guys in their gray suits were the perfect compliment to the girls in blue! Such a fun group of friends!
The party got started and it was a blast! There was a small stampede to get to the desert table after they cut their cake, but seriously can you blame them!??! Spencer Sugar Shop had so many delicious deserts and an incredible 3-D cookie display!! Seriously, have you ever seen one?! I love hearing all the toasts, I always get to find out some little secrets, but also see how incredible LOVED they are. Amber and Brodey are no exception!
I’ve got one more wedding before my 2019 season is officially over! It truly has been such a great year! Thanks Amber & Brodey for letting me be apart of your incredible day!!
