Alex & Eric might look a little familiar, I was lucky enough to photograph their incredible surprise proposal! It just so happen to take place during the bouquet toss at her sister Emilee’s & Evan’s Wedding! You can have a flash back to that here!
There was absolutely no denying the shock and surprise on Alex’s face during that proposal! I was beyond thrilled when I heard from Alex about shooting their wedding!! I don’t want to spoil to much about it, but it is going to be AMAZING!!
I met these two in downtown Dayton, specifically to start their session at Wegerzyn Gardens. Despite living outside of Dayton for 3 years I had never been there! It was beautiful! It was a crazy hot day but the sunlight throughout was beautiful!! So glad Alex asked if we could start their session there!!
Alex & Eric are a quiet pair, who’s busy work schedules have them both enjoying quiet, peaceful nights together at home- watching movies and loving on their sweet pups!
We explored the gardens a bit before headed down town to the Oregon District! I remember it being one of my favorite places to shoot at when I was down their for school! It’s a funky little area with lots of shops, restaurants & entertainment! It was a perfect place to match their spunky style!
Alex has this light up the room smile and these gorgeous eyes that just suck you in! (Seriously, Alex. You’re gorgeous!!!) And I loved watching Eric look at her. Every time the sweetest smirk would appear. Their love is easy. It’s not over the top, it’s not wild. It’s strong and steady. It’s quiet but obvious.
Alex loves cooking, (you should check out her instagram! Every time she posts, my mouth waters!! @Dining_with_dudley ) Eric loves cars. Everything I learned about them made so much sense. They are perfectly paired.
As we were wrapping up our session, a young girl & guy walked by and then kind of hung out closely, come to find out- it was Alex’s cousin and her Grandma & some family were just around the corner at a restaurant so we walked over so they could say hi! I had so much fun with these two, and I can’t wait for their wedding in October!!! Thanks Alex & Eric for hanging with me on such a hot, but gorgeous evening!!
