It wasn’t long into their freshmen year at Ohio Northern University that Kayla & Conner met each other. They have been encouraging and supporting each other throughout school and moves ever since!
When we first chatted these two were living life in Wisconsin and it’s where he asked and she said yes! From they very first conversation all the way through wedding day-these two made it easy. My second Lindsey and I were going back and forth on wedding day about who was more laid back.
Days leading up to their wedding, thunderstorms were forecasted. Morning of, rain showers expected. And as each hour passed the day looked better and better!
They exchanged letters followed by their first look. Conner almost squealed with excitement after seeing his beautiful bride. After a moment together we headed to ONU to capture some portraits at a few important spots along campus.
As we walked to each spot, Kayla shared the memories they experienced on campus. They talked and laughed about the times they shared. ONU seemed to run deep within both families. Kayla’s dad being on the 150 years committee as the college celebrates the monumental date.
It was an intimate day, with the sole focus on their wedding and their love story. Conner’s mom officiated the ceremony, sharing her first hand account of how their relationship started as she was a professor on campus. Seeing them walking together from a distance around campus. Mama did her research. Soon enough learning Kayla was not only a smart, kinda, and beautiful woman, but a perfect match for her Conner. A short and sweet ceremony and off Kayla & Conner went to hid in the grooms suite as family & friends made it to cocktail hour. I went to snag them for family formals and as I opened the door I saw Kayla standing there, sobbing, tears streaming down her face! Overcome with emotion- the joy overflowing. They were married!
Family & Friends enjoyed cocktail hour as we headed around the amazing Crimson Lane Venue to capture some portraits! These two were up for anything, Kayla treking through tall grasses, nothing stopping her from creating beautiful portraits!
The rain held off and friends and family enjoyed a beautiful night outside with corn hole and dancing inside! They don’t come along very often (Sunday Weddings)- but when day do- They are incredible. The Fleck wedding was no different!
We snuck off for a few more portraits and then these two spend their evening dancing away with their favorite people!
Congratulations Kayla & Conner! May you have a lifetime of love and happiness!!
