Marissa & Brad | A Navy & Emerald Spring Wedding at Crimson Lane

The first wedding of any season can really set the pace for the trajectory of your year and Marissa & Brad certainly got things started off right!!!

I was greeted with the sweetest smile by Marissa! The commotion and hustle and bustle of a wedding day can easily get your blood and nerves pumping! If Marissa was feeling that way, she certainly didn’t show it!!!

Marissa’s dress was gorgeous, detailed with scallop shaped beading which paired perfectly with vibe she was going for! The back of her dress was jaw dropping, but posed a little difficult to hide her shape-wear. But much like she was all day, Marissa didn’t let the small things sweat her. She put her trust in her coordinator,  Aspen of Aspen Jean Planning and they quickly got it solved! (Brides- you should seriously consider a coordinator if you have not! They can truly save the day!)  Moments like that made me realize why Marissa is the type of bride I dream about. Weddings day can no doubt have a few bumps along the way, but Marissa stayed focused on the important part of the day, her marriage to Brad!

The Emerald color of the girls dresses popped against the navy suits the groomsmen wore!! Spring weddings can be so unknown when it comes to the weather, but Marissa & Brad’s day was a little chilly but the sun popped in and out all day! Marissa shared an exciting first look with her dad, her bridesmaids & of course Brad! Their friends were filled with as much joy and excitement as Marissa & Brad to celebrate their love!

The chairs filled for their ceremony and Marissa confidently made her way to Brad! A beautiful ceremony that will forever have a story to tell. Marissa & Brad were lighting the unity candle when Brad forgot to block his candle as he blew it out and he also blew out the candle they lit together! Everyone laughed! A story they will no doubt tell their kids one day!!

As I spent the day with Marissa & Brad it was obvious that they bring each other a level of comfort, their smiles were never bigger than when they were together and the happiness they share is obvious!

The light sage green table cloths with pops of color and emerald green napkins made if feel like spring!!! Their guestbook was a game of Jenga, where family and friends wrote sweet notes on the game pieces!

It was a great night and an amazing start to my wedding season! Thank you so much Marissa & Brad on letting me be apart of your day!! Wishing  you a lifetime of love and happiness!
