A second go around, the wedding of their dreams! Jackie & Justin said I do last year in an intimate, immediate family only. Even this small shared moment was incredibly beautiful. They shared in small dinner party after their nuptials that was incredibly beautiful, but so many were missing. This year was going to be the most exciting celebration!
Fast forward, There was no detail over looked. So Serene really was a perfect venue for their celebration- the lush gardens complemented the incredible floral artistry by Bear Roots Florals. My favorite thing was that Jackie took everything that typically happens at So Serene and did the opposite, Where most people get married, Jackie held the reception space. Where most people set up the reception space, Jackie set up her ceremony. It was the first time i’ve ever photographed at So Serene and it did not disappoint! Everything Jackie had picked out complimented the venue so well!
We stood waiting for Jackie to approach Justin for their first look and he stood fidgeting with his fingers. With each footstep of her’s getting closer and closer , his smile would grow wider and wider. When they faced each other, Jackie burst into tears. Justin’s consoled her instantly- It was finally here. The day they had been waiting for!! I loved watching Jackie and Justin take it all in, seeing everything they had planned for come to fruition! A different dress than before, his jaw dropped, Jackie looked gorgeous! Jackie admired how handsome Justin looked in his custom suit. Like I said, every detail well thought out!
A beautiful combinations of colors, pinks, yellows, greens & light purples, created a soft romantic palette that was accented by the old stone of So Serene. There was an obvious joy and happiness radiating through each person in attendance. Against the old wood doors, they shared personal vows. They joined their friends in cocktail hour where they planned for guest to enjoy a signature cocktail- smoked old fashion and horderves. Let the celebrations begin!! Dancing, toasts, and the most delicious cake from Lavender and Honey. The guys looked so great in their classic black tuxes, the girls looked incredible in their soft romantic mauve dresses!
It was a perfect late spring early summer wedding, and the perfect reminder that even when things don’t always go as planned, sometimes the outcome is more beautiful than you could have imagined!
We ended our night with a fun sparkler exit, the whole day was an a dream to photograph and just by seeing Jackie & Justin’s reactions to everything- it was there dream come true too!
